Eahsa Conference 2012: Active Ageing - The challenge for providers - Best Practices and Innovations in Housing, Care and Services - Montesquieu Instituut

2012 is be the “European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations.” Active Ageing is much more than just employment policy. Following the definition of the WHO it means: “...the process of optimizing opportunities of health, participation and security in order to enhance quality of life as people age. It allows people to realise their potential for wellbeing throughout their lives and to participate in society according to their needs, desires and capabilities, while providing them with adequate protection, security and care when they need assistance...” All this will be discussed and featured throughout the conference programme.
