Meeting of Senior Officials for Culture - Montesquieu Instituut

The main objective of this meeting is to come to an adoption of a Declaration on the public value of culture and cultural governance through a participatory process by involving member states and experts. The thematic areas of the meeting will include the challenges posed on cultural governance, the cultural governance (evidence-based policy) as a tool for the use of a more effective cultural policy, social cohesion and cultural diversity, in the framework for the development of a systematic and holistic approach for the formulation of a cultural policy, strengthening cultural research based on holistic approaches in Cultural Governance. Emphasis will also be given to the enhancement of networks between researchers in issues of cultural policy.
