The Council of European Municipalities & Regions (CEMR) is holding its triennial General Assembly in Cadiz on 26-28 September 2012. The event brings together many hundreds of local politicians from across Europe to debate current issues that affect their daily work. Debates take place in small roundtable discussions and larger plenary sessions, technical visits around the Cadiz region will enable participants to discover innovative initiatives and activities, whilst online tools, such an up-to-date web news section and live Twitter newsfeed will keep the event fresh and reduce the use of paper documents.
The CEMR Assembly website www.cemr2012.eu is now on-line where you can find the detailed programme, how to plan your trip to Cádiz, and the online registration system.
