This event will focus on some of the most relevant topics to boost Future Internet international collaboration: What is the future of Internet and its many applications? How can the interests of platform developers, apps and service providers and future customers be combined ? Which applications, such as cloud computing, future media, and e-commerce, will customers most willingly embrace? Which applications will generate new business opportunities? How can Internet be used to solve major challenges, such as environmental change, healthcare and ageing, and transportation?
Dit is een nieuwe post in de Commissie-Barroso II die sinds februari 2010 wordt bekleed door Neelie Kroes.
Deze Eurocommissaris is belast met het directoraat-generaal Informatiemaatschappij (INFSO) en het Europees Agentschap voor Netwerk- en Informatiebeveiliging.
